Manunui School Enrolment Scheme
I roto i te wao nui a Tane,
Ka tupu, ka pakari,
Ko te pihinga totara
The sapling totara grows strong and tall,
sheltered by the trees of the forest
Manunui School is a growing semi-rural school 7 km south of Taumarunui and is privileged to have children from all over the Taumarunui District attend our school.
We believe that education is vitally important for our students to succeed in the world. Our focus is on providing our students with an engaging, fun curriculum with a balance of academic, cultural, sporting and practical experiences which meets the needs of all tamariki.
We want our Manunui kids to:
Strive for excellence
Connect with their place in the world and be proud – learn who they are, where they come from and the stories, histories, people and places that shape them
To grow their talents and interests
Explain their learning and their next steps
Learn how to learn, be comfortable with mistakes and have a positive mindset
Learn how to be part of a team and community
Be role models
Be effective communicators
Look after each other
Show our KORU values
Believe in themselves
Have heaps of fun!
Our four school values of Knowledge, Ownership, Respect and Unity (KORU Values) underpin all that we do here at our school. We learn and live our KORU Values so that tamariki and staff can use them at our school, in our wider community and in their future experiences.
Our doors are always open to our whānau, our community. Manunui School is your school and you are so welcome here! Please feel free to pop in any time, we’d love to see you!
